I've been using this one for about a week. I just got an iPhone 3gs and it works well. The sound is really good for fmtransmitter. It's easy to set up. The coolest thing about it is the auto tune thing where you just hold the tune buttons for 3 seconds and it finds the best sounding frequency for you. Then it has presets you can use too. It's good for driving... Quick and easy to tune. Hands free phone feature is cool.. Pretty good for the money .... Belkin has one for $70, but I returned that one.. Sound was not good for the price.. This accessory power one is better all aroundd... CHEERS!!
Better than a ticket

Welp, I'm always fumbling around with my iPhone 3G in the car. Yup, i'm one of those people. I try not to, i know its bad, but sometimes i need to make a call or pop on my Pandora! Last month, it caught up to me. I got a FAT ticket for using my cell while driving (CA). The ticket cost was OUTRAGEOUS. I decided to try this product to stop my erroneous ways and start OBEYING the law. So far, it has worked great. The Flexpod plugs right into my car's outlet and i just plop my iPhone 3G right into the cradle and take off. My music blasts through my car speakers and sounds wayyyy better than i expected for an FM Transmitter (I've tried different FM Transmitters in the past with older iPods and had lackluster results). The real sweet part about this whole deal are the hands-free phone convos. When i get a phone call, my music fades out and the call fades in. I hit answer and voila! my call comes through my car speakers and i can carry on a perfectly normal conversation...hands-free! You just have to make sure your iPhone's volume is all the way up or else the other person's voice is not super loud. Otherwise, it all sounds really, really good and like i said previously, better than i expected. Hopefully, i can avoid any more HUGE tickets with this product.

In case you're wondering I drive a Honda Civic DX ('02 BABY!), usually in and around LA (with lots of potential for interference but i havent heard any yet), and I use an iPhone 3G (cause the 3GS aint worth it!).

Bought this product on sale in Amazon.com on a special sale a few weeks ago and I use it every week now. I have an older car with a cassette system and did not want to spend the money to buy a whole new car stereo to use with my iPods. Since I drive for long hours on my job at times, this accessory is wonderful, especially when I am in rural areas with limited radio reception. It plays just great through the car speakers: just plug it into the power adapter and match the device frequency to the FM station frequent on any channel that does not already have a radio station broadcasting. While driving, the mounted unit has an arm that is flexible and you can bend it to your convenience. The on/off switch is lighted and easy to tap. The adjustment for radio frequency is also easy, tap on one side or the other to go up or down. To remove, just tap the power off and pull from the adapter. The adjustable and cushioned grip adjusts to any size iPod. To remove my iPod, I just toggle the knob on the back of the bracket. I can easily tap the iPod on app icons or playlists. The device charges while used, so my iPod is always at full power. I primarily use this with my iPod Touch. I would highly recommend it as the best travel accessory for iPod fans. This is my favorite bit of technology I have found for years, after the iPods themselves, of course!

Just got an early year Corvette. No IPOD or satellite capabilities. Do not want to spend the $2500 for the receiver upgrade. Ordered the FLEXPOD X2 iPhone/ iPod FM Transmitter and received it in a couple of days.

Unboxed the unit, plugged it in to the cigarette lighter. Displayed on the unit was the radio station that told me to tune to.

Put on my audio book and cruised around for an hour.

This unit works great. Plug and play in two minutes.

I can't stress this enough, this is a great item. Solid, reliable. I am extremely satisfied with it. The only possible criticism would be to imbrove the angle of the arm. Works great on my truck in the vertival outle, not so good in the horizontal outlet form my volvo s40 in the center console.
